Not sure what is happening to my GSP

Hi all,
I just noticed this on my GSP (Pic below). Does anyone know if this is some sort of ailment or is one of my fish nibbling on it?

I don't see a problem. Could be a fish. so long as it doesn't spread I wouldn't worry too much. It is a hardy coral.

No it's actually growing like that. There are a few pieces that branched out.

They are trying to find other rocks to colonize. Perfectly normal. You can cut them down as glue it to a frag plug if you’d like
