Hey everyone. I picked up a goniopora with a skeleton that's about the size of a softball. I noticed this a couple days ago but it is hard to get pictures of. It is only noticeable when the goniopora is closed up or when the lights are off. It is inside a hole in the corals skeleton. It has hair like strands that extend maybe an inch. When I got the coral I dipped it in coral rx for about 5 minutes. It retracts similar to aiptasia, but it's strands are nothing like tentacles. The strands are reflective and appear greenish blue as seen in some of the pictures.
Here are the best pictures I could get. Please help me figure out what it is and if it is bad what to do to get rid of it.
