But it’s kind of creeping me out

It’s living in a tube, and it appears to have an eye. The tube is a quarter inch in diameter. I poked at it with a turkey baster, and it retreated back into its tube.

Is it a huge vermetid snail, or something else?

A foxface will chew them up. You won’t see immediate results but in time, the foxface will clear all your rock of the snail/worm. That’s been my experience with the pest.
