Hey guys,

So I ordered a blue velvet nudibranch to help take care of my significant flatworm issue. It came in, the bag was cold (don’t have a temp as my wife is the one taking care of it while I’m at work). The nudi appears to be okay (not disintegrating) but isn’t moving and just floating around the bag. Water is clear.

Is it normal for a nudi to be floating around when shipped?

I can’t help with your issue, but most tropical ocean organisms can handle short term low temperatures.

What I’m curious about is your success with the Nudibranch once established. I have read they can get chopped apart by powerheads and some other issues in aquariums? Hopefully it survives and you can update us on your progress with it.

I’m hoping. My only concern is the powerheads if it survives. But i only have two in my tank and they’re away from the rock so I’ll probably turn them off and let it get settled in before turning them back on
