#WelcometoR2R!!! What are your plans for fish and/or coral?
Stock List: Two Ocellaris Clowns, Maybe a small Shrimp Goby and Non Stony Coral
Am thinking I can just circulate and heat some new saltwater in this tote and start the rock and some sand off. Have Bacteria starter I can add and some coralline additive for future use..

I made the Rookie mistake of adding Live rock that I should not have thinking it would add more good then bad. Then I found a Parasitic Isopod.

I removed the Only Isopod I have seen and the live rock from the tank. Odds are there are more. I also got a small bristle worm as well. Ohh well just have to keep watching the tank and see what happens hopefully it wont be too bad.

Hey ReefTankJ!

So. New here, and newer to actually controlling lighting. I've got about a years experience under my belt attempting to keep reef aquariums with moderate success, finally trying to figure out the fine art of all this insanity.

That being said, what lighting model, or amounts are you rocking on that Prime 16HD? I finally caved and got a light were I have some sort of say of what's going on, then promptly realized I have no idea how much light to pump in.

Would love to see your light schedule/channel layout, or how you decided it....Par? Watt/Gallon? and if you don't have a PAR meter did you use an app or something?

Mostly just looking for the practical idiot's guide to figuring out light for a Nuvo! Thanks in advanced if you have any advice!
