I bought the IM Nuvo desktop proteim skimmer and the cup keeps filling up with water. Did i do something wrong? How do i make it more dry,do i move the rubber thing more up?

I have the IM Nuvo 20 gallon tank.

To adjust the skimmer move the rubber ring. Here is a picture of mine.

The skimmer may need break in is the tank new? Maybe there is no organic to remove yet. If that's the case you can just take out the cup, that will provide additional aeration or you can take it offline. I would just remove the cup and feed normally if the tank is new you want some nutrients in the tank.

Yea is new, couple days ago i finish cycling. Okay i will do that, remove the cup.

The more you move the ring down the drier it gets....i put mine maximum dry at only like a centimeter above the bottom of the cup.....move it up or down depending on how dry you want it. Like most people said if it's a new tank then their might not be enough nutrients.
