Anyone try this salt out yet? Just got a batch and will be trying it out on water changes soon. It has the mixed parameter levels I typically run in my tank.

Looks very promising. I wonder how many gallons it makes.

edit: looks like 135 gallons at 34ppt hard to see on the label

Definitely want to add this to my salt test. Price is a little high IMO so it will need to do something that others don't to justify the cost

Looks to be essentially the same thing (ICP tested pharmaceutical grade) Fauna Marin is offering at a $5 less a box. Has anyone sent you some of that?

I’ve had 3 companies and a couple individuals reach out to me about sending salt. Not one has followed through so far.

I am hoping to start another round soon but new lighting got in the way lol

BRS sells it. 20kg bucket or bag. Assume it makes about 175 gallons or so.
I think it says 135 gallons or 515 liters at 34 ppt on the bucket but the label is very hard to see. It is the purple part on the front bottom of the bucket in the BRS picture

Wack. So what are you needing? A small bucket of x salt and an ICP test?

We use it at our Farm and I must say I never used a cleaner salt.
Even after 2000 gallons mixed there isn’t any crud in the mixing tub.

Great to hear. I haven't mixed any yet but will soon. I think NYOS makes good products, hoping this salt is one of them.

For the cost, I feel it should be scraping my glass daily :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Excited to test this one but on price alone it will be tough to ever recommend. This goes for TM, HW, and ESV as well. I love all three of those salts but they need to get their prices under control. Ocean shipping is dirt cheap these days so they can’t use that excuse any longer
