No worries I’ve been doing some research and given my tank capacity I can see that I am probably going to go down the DIY route to make things like algae scrubbers and fleece rolls. Can avoid need for a protein skimmer that way and save myself quite a few bucks. I’m a Eco so minimising power consumption and feeding equip off return flow and using waste energy is all part of my build spec.

How could you get burnt too many times from PayPal? If the items are as described, you won’t get burnt, they have seller protection as well as buyer protection. Granted they make a portion of your sale but that’s business.

Tell that to the guy that is enjoying my 3k MacBook Pro after back charging PayPal and sending me back a brick in the box, PayPal gave him his money back because he provide them with tracking number, and why do you care in any case? I can choose not to ship, what exactly if your problem with that?

I was just curious. I’ve dealt with PayPal since 2005 as a seller and buyer, never had a problem. I choose to use them because of their policies. I don’t care if you ship or not. You certainly went off on a rant.

No one went on a rant, I just asked you why do you care if I ship or not, did I ever ask you why do you accept paypal? why would I care?
And Its not like I dont accept paypal and I ask people to send me money with western union or any other shady methods to ship, its the other other way around, I offer the safest way to buy what I am seling, *local pick up*. why is that a problem, why did it trigger your curiosity?
And if you were just curious you could of asked me in a private msg.
I been using paypal for over 20 years myself, I never had a problem as a buyer either, it was fine for the most part, then I ran into a couple scumbags that took me for over 5k in total.
You know how easy it is for someone to rip you off? buy something, then complain about it, send a brick back in the box, provide paypal a tracking number, guess what, they will give you your money back, that's paypal for you.. If you are happy with paypal use them, I am not, although you did say if my item is as described I shouldn't have a problem, which suggests that maybe I didn't describe my items as such resulting to paypal chargeback.
I have a stellar feedback on r2r, never had a single complain and I go above and beyond to make sure the buyer knows what he is getting, I ship the same day and I keep in touch until they get my item and I check back with them a few days later to make sure they 100% happy. I said no shipping in my ad, because I didn't want people to msg me asking me to ship and have to go through this, explaining why I cant and why, I dont ask people to send me any kind of other payment because is against the rules, if they want to, that's up to them.
