Amazing setup!! Love the new video!

Where in SoCal do you live? I love your idea of an outside drag tank. I live in the San Fernando Valley where temperatures get up to 105-110 during the summer. Is it possible to keep a drag tank in that high of temperature outside?

Way to bounce back and not let a couple setbacks ruin your dream tank. Emptied vacuum cleaner full of concrete dust into sump? Really? Must have been 4:20 in the afternoon:)

I have like you had a lot of bad luck and some bad decision on my part over the years, I started this hobby as a destraction when I lost my son, I have many times given up, things dying and not knowing what to do, not a lot of information in country Australia, but you are a inspiration for me to keep trying, thank you, your tank looks amazing, hope your health has improved

Hello Everyone,

Tank has been doing really well recently. Currently on the hunt to try to catch a Giant Black Clawed crab in the tank. Found a huge shed shell recently and lost some valuable fish. But corals are doing well and growing well.

Working on cleaning up the outside frag system and tanks.

Installed a webcam on the outside frag tanks. Check out the frag tank Live --- remember it's outside, so if the sun is down in California you won't see much

Enjoy.

Had the pleasure of seeing this tank yesterday. Easily the nicest acro tank I've laid eyes upon. The grafted monti and Oregon Tort colonies are mindblowing.

Great read detailing your journey with your tank. I recently joined R2R and saw this thread. The tank is still looking amazing. Last time I saw the tank is when you had a frag swap in the backyard. I brought the kids that day and they never looked at my "baby" tank the same.

Hi Everyone,

Anyone who sees my outdoor tanks always asks about what happens when it rains.

Well the winter of 2016/2017 brought more rain then the last 15 years and ended a 7 year drought.

And after all that rain came down, here is what the outdoor frag tank looks like.

PS -- Inside display tank is doing well. Will try to make a video in the next week or so to update its status.
