OASE Biomaster Thermo 250 for 11G?

I have a 11G tank without a sump and using a Seachem Tidal 35 on on end. Would it be worth switching it out for a OASE Biomaster Thermo 250 canister filter to pack in more biomedia and hide the heater? Was thinking the pre-filter could be cleaned weekly.

The powerhead in the photo has already been replaced by a nero 3.

If you want. I'm not sure there would be any more benefit other than aesthetics.
