Oceanic Bio Cube 29 gallon 1st Gen

so i am pretty new to the salt water tank life, i have a 29 gallon bio cube, so far i think i have the tank set up properly all water readings are correct, i have 2 clown fish, a green goby, a coral beauty, and a few snails and hermit crabs now i bought a protien skimmer but it wont fit in chamber 3 i was wondering if i can move the ceramic bio balls in to chamber 3 and put the protien skimmer next to the media basket???

I dont own a biocube but either way ditch the balls and if it will fit without impeding flow than itll be fine.
