So a friend came by today and was looking at my tank. He turned to me and asked, "how long have you had the perculas?".
I replied, "there Ocellaris clowns or false percs."
Long story short, we were in disagreement with one another, so I thought I'd ask everyone's thoughts and what they think.
I base my answer off of dorsal spines
And eye pupil color. Pupils are solid black and dorsal spines equal 11 i believe.
Only thing that has me question my answer is the black outlines on the white stripes and if I counted the dorsal spines correctly.
I know percs are know the have more orange around the Pupils and have 10 spines, sometimes 9.
Here are a few pics of my pair, best shots I could get with my phone.

And her pal

So I think they are Ocellaris's. Am I wrong. Your thoughts please.

That looks like a percula, but if you counted 11 dorsal spines rather than 10, it would be ocellaris.
