Octo help?

Hey guys! Can someone enlighten me as to what is happening with my Octo? Dying? Trying to split? It appears the base is starting to grow up around the head. I took a pic from both sides. Thank you! Params this afternoon:

pH 8.2

Nitrate 0.13
Ca 427

Phosphates 0.03

That was from the Hanna checker…should I retest?

If your nitrates are that low on a regular basis and your phosphates near 0 then I am going to say it is not getting enough food. It looks kind of pale.

Your other parameters seem fine..

id start feeding more , or add nutrients to raise it a little .
