So after i cleaned my return pump the controller accidently felt into the sump when I put the pump back in, now it's blinking red and not turning on did I fry it?
Unplug it and let it dry out for several days before trying it again. Placing in a bag of rice seems to help absorb moisture out of electronics. Worked for a past iPhone I dropped in a lake one day. Took about 5 days, but it worked fine once it dried up. Unplugging and/or turning off immediately is key. Helps prevent further damage to circuits.
Bummer, ya I tried turning it on and off a few times and think I made it worse lol well luckily I have a backup return pump, do you think the varios s2 was too small for a 75 gallon with 20 gallon sump? Maybe I should upgrade to the 4. Thanks
Get it in dry rice ASAP and you may be able to dry out and salvage it.
You may also open up casing UNPLUGGED and use computer air cleaner in a can and blow it out well then place in rice
