I just picked up this hammer frag because I liked the green and gold colors but also the varying sizes of the tips which is very different from my other hammers. Any idea what might cause this? One photo is from seller's tank and other is floating in the bag in my tank.

Interesting. I wasn't thinking of the tips as bouncing, just odd tips of various sizes, unlike the uniform look within a colony of most hammers I see. I hope it does stay like this. I like the looks of it. Couple of shots in my tank after acclimation.
