Hi, my tank is about six months old and has been doing very well, it is a 13.5 gallon and has one fish and a few coral. A few days ago I have noticed these weird sharp clear like substances floating at the top of the tank. At first I thought it was part of the filter floss, so I did a water change yesterday and changed it, and it’s back again. It wasn’t until today that I noticed one of the things floating at the top looked like a little see through shrimp. Then I saw three more that looked identical, and there are hundreds of them floating at the top? The weirdest part is that their all dead to? Does anyone know what these are? I have purchased coral from tanks with copepods, but every thing is dipped so wouldn’t they have died? Let me know please! I’ll try to get a picture in if I can! Thanks,
~Ezra
