So, now that I added 4 Par 34 lamps, I started up 12VDC pancake fan to assist with evaporative cooling. It blows a small hurricane and has a high frequency whine. Due to work around steam turbines & roots blowers used for supercharging large diesel engines, my high-frequency hearing is badly compromised.MEN AT WORK
Now that back wall on 75G is free of GSP, I can think of nothing better than Red Sea “Silver Pulsating Xenia”.
So after removing 90% of live rocks from 120G tank, I found a rock full of Xenia. If it likes it there, I will support it with fishing line and remove eggcrate pillar.
@Paul B
I was told that I could slow the fan down by reducing the voltage and I observed that as the battery slowly ran down to 11.5VDC. As an engineer, I know I need a small voltage regulator. However, you as a Master Electrician can suggest a simple voltage reducing device for wet/damp location.
My UPS system is charged to 13.1VDC using a 75A RV charging system.
