My Niger trigger won’t leave my piping for my canister filter alone, what can I do to stop it? Drilling the tank is not an option. Picture of the damage it’s done so far to my inlet hose. The fish get fed once a day, would feeding twice a day stop it? The only other tank inhabitants are a clownfish, a yellow watchman goby and some inverts.

What size tank? Triggers are very intelligent and will be destructive if not in a tank large enough or with dynamic tank mates to keep them entertained. They will also move rocks around.

A 55, the trigger is still small and we are in the process of buying a 150g for it.
