Chelsey,
You sound like my hubby in college! He was an animal science major and a store manager of a Petco while going through college. We used to end up with every animal dropped off there under the sun!
I love your African Grey. We had a green wing and a blue and gold macaw for a few years when we first got married. We ended up giving them to a educational program that takes them around to schools and such because we worked full time and it was unfair how little time we could spend with them.
He used to breed guinie pigs, finches and cockatiels. We've bottle raised bunnies on a few occasions. We've had iguanas, gold tegues, geckos, and a balll python.
We currently have 3 cats, 1 boston terrier and two white capped pionus. We also have Doobie, my black capped basslet, Dottie my friedmani dottback, and Stripey my sixline. Doobie is a hoot, he's forever tossing gravel around on my corals so I have to be careful with placement. He lets me know when I've placed anything too close to his cave for his liking. He'll eat out of my fingers too, but man......he's got a big mouth that can get around my fingertip! :)
I really want to have a house rabbit one day. Our friends have on that is litter box trained and lay with and clean the cats. My boston is pretty rambuncious though, and I worry about her hurting one accidently. My kids are a little young to have such a fragile hopping about as well....perhaps one day.
