Official Lobo Show Off Thread...

Quick question... My lobo seems to be shrinking and all other corals in tank doing fine. Parameters in tolerance ... Any causes?

Seems to be an old thread! Here is my lobo though.

I would love to do this but i had Lobos attack each other. I am sure it must be certain varieties are not compatible. But i do not know which ones are not.

Hmmm, maybe I'll move them apart. Lobos don't have long sweepers and these are all the same species from the same locale but wouldn't want to risk it. Thanks for the warning!

Same species of lobo may be a key. Mine it happened 2 separate times, different lobos. where they extended their insides and attack. Similar to how an enchinata attacks. It first really ballooned up to get closer. Then the inside webbing stuff came out. Both times the loosing lobo lost flesh, but did heal months later. It could have been an aussie and an indo on a turf war. Not sure.

So perhaps since mine are all Aussie Lobophyllia hemprichii I might be alright. I've kept these many times before but never in a group.

How exactly do lobos grow? I got this guy for $10 and he hasn't grown outward or anything but he has gotten fat and that's an improvement. He's been in my tank for about 6 months.
