That's a bunch of sweeping for fabricated team. What those 3 did is a mockery to basketball. Imagine if Jordan, Ewing and Bird did that. It would have ruined basketball.

Sweeping really - So funny that everyone expects 2 stars and a half star to get together with no center and no point guard and be amazing...dont read into the media hype it takes time or more less 60 games...LOL

It's also funny how so many people are angry that they came together - Boston had their supposed big 3, LA had Kobe and Shaq, How about NY now?....How could you even put bosh in the same breath as Jordan Ewing and Bird...really?? Wade was already there...James decided to go there and Bosh is a bonus but not even a top 50 NBA player so lets get that right. King James screwed up by having that over glorified "Decision" which made everyone hate him and the Heat. Big time players move all the time....no big deal. Wade and James when drafted talked about the possibility of joining up when their contracts were up...that was years ago.

Ruin basketball - This is the most watched playoffs in years! Ratings are through the roof and it has been very exciting to watch. Whats more impressive is that they were able to get together with a cap...this isnt like the Red Sox or Yankees who can just throw money at players without a cap...these guys became free agents, took less money, and playing team basketball. I still dont get what is wrong with that.

That means squadoosh for the playoffs (and I am a Mavs fan!). The Heat are playing really well right now. I will say that Chicago has been hit and miss through the playoffs in every series - so I'm not surprised to see them doing as poorly as they are. 5 on 1 is a bit lopsided in any game. It is just impressive that D-Rose made it to the East finals by himself.

And i am sure that after 6 more years of D-Rose trying to do himself and failing....He will be frowned upon when he decides to leave for a better surrounding cast...ala Lebron James

Well its official the Heat will face the Mavs great game Bulls fought a good fight but D.Rose just needed more help James and Wade were too much and probably will be for the Mavs also

Mavs will handle Miami just fine. I'm curious how they are gonna stop Dirk? Nobody can match up with him. He'll tear them apart like he has in the last three rounds.

Hate to say it but Dirk hasnt faced a defense like what Miami has been putting out for the playoffs...Who thought they were gonna shut down Boston and then D Rose...both in 5? All i can say is that it will be a very good series....

Don't forget, too, that this Mavs team was a huge favorite to have a first round burnout (as in the past). Then they were going to get blown out of the water by the defending champs.

The finals matchup should be good, I am excited to watch it for sure!

I would take Joel Anthony over Nick Collison all day. You guys have played a couple decent defenders....our entire team is a defensive force. Check these stats and find me anything even close to what the Mavs have faced!!

1) They have only let one game in the entire playoffs break 100 points against them.
2) They are averaging 88.3 points a game against them
3) They have 3 players averaging at least 1 steal a game
4) They have 4 players averaging at least 1 block a game with Joel averaging 2.
5) The heat as a whole are averaging 7 steals a game and almost 7 (6.7) blocks a game

Closest thing to this Defense is the Bulls and well...you saw how that went!

It's going to be a good game - that is for sure. Until they find a way to shut Dirk down and stop Dallas' bench, then it'll be Dallas the whole way.

Did you really say shut down Wade and Lebron??? Good luck with that...did you forget Bosh...he dropped 30, 10, 34, 22, 20 against the Bulls D. You guys will be lucky to slow them down.
I agree blocking Dirk is tough and usually need a ladder but the way he hangs in the air for 20mins...i hope he watches his back...i have seen more blocks from behind with Wade than any other guard.

Let me put it in perspective...regular season half speed at best for Miami while they tried to mesh together...the Playoffs are a different animal and while the Mavs are Hot...the Heat are scorching and you will have a Heat team that will be throwing everything they have to win. James wants it more than any other player....left his kingdom to be become the most hated athlete for this moment...they have been told this whole season that they cant do it, it wont work...dealt with more pressure than any team out there and key injuries that other teams would have folded. Have been the most scrutinized team i have ever seen...and yet they waltz into the finals with a sub-average center and point guard, Wade less than 100%, and the nation (minus south Florida) foaming at the mouth to watch them lose.

It wont be easy on either side...but history has a way of repeating! Game on - Good luck Tuesday!

Stick to better facts like ZERO championships for Dallas! Keep going - you are only making it worse for yourself if they lose!

the bulls beat us the whole regular season and then the first playoff game...but when it comes down to it...we won the 4 games that mattered. I don't think you saying that the Mavs won the past 10 games means anything! Side note...I think its going to be a rediculous series and I hope we find someone that can stop Dirk! Go Miami!
