For anyone that has grown this coral out with good success, how far away from the light do you have it and what kind of light do you use?
 
I have had my watermelon for two years now and it has stayed approx. 20" from my lights.
Lighting list...
two 150HQI 14k
two 460nm t5
two pure actinic t5
four 24" actinic VHO

all on a 90 gallon growth is around 1" all the way around in the last year since I started the calcium reactor and dosing Brightwell Coral Amino.
