Ok, here’s my build thread 220gallon

So I’m going to start my build thread. A little at a time. If I tried to do it all at once it would be overwhelming. Sooooooo here goes, I ended up with a 72Lx30Wx24T (I was going to get a 75 gallon lol and kept going bigger n bigger till I reached the 220) starphire glass tank built by Crystal Dynamic Aquariums out of SoCal. I ordered via Neptune’s Aquatics out of San Jose (beautiful store with amazing show tanks). I order my stand (white in color) from Chris Benner of Sticks n Stones (beautiful stand with waterproof liner). I went with a 20 inch shadow overflow from synergy reef and a 48x24x18 (shadow overflow color scheme) sump with matching 10 gallon ATO reservoir. Can’t say enough about the quality of synergy’s products!!! Thanks Rick!!! I went with 4) mp40’s and a L1 vectra return pump for the flow. A NYOS 220 skimmer and a Finnex 500 watt heater. For lighting I went with 2) kessil AP700’s (I think I want one more AP700 or some T5’s in front and behind the kessils) to light the display and a kessil H380 for the fuge. I purchased a 2016 Neptune Apex for control over the tank. I also got the fmm to know how many gallons I’m pumping thru the sump/display, WXM, 2) EB8 energy bars (I wanted to plug everything into the energy bars so I knew total power consumption), and the dós so I was ready for some 2 part when the time came.

I’ll add more soon, cuz there’s been an original fish stock list and scape. Then I changed my mind and gave the fish I had to the lfs and started the new fish stock list and re-scape (was going to do mixed reef but now I want a SPS dominate tank) . Plus tons of changing/redesign in the install with the kessil mounts and other things like rock and and and I’ll get into soon (I wanted them to mount to the back of the stand but the overflow was in the way) so check back and let me know what you guys think of the build so far...
