ok, SPS dedicated reef tank from beginning, how long to cycle and what to add to water from day 1 ?

You need some nutrients for the corralline to grow though. So adding a couple fish early is beneficial imo
Once you add fish or macro algee you end up adding a whole bunch of other stuff to the system that hitchhike with the organism. That’s the trade off and you can just continue to feed with ammonia or chemical no3 and po4

I don't think that makes much sense. Imo as soon as the nitrogen cycle is good to go adding fish gets the rest of the cycling going. Delaying adding fish just delays the tank maturing. Am I missing something?
