Ok here is the deal , I am going to be selling my tank and getting a new one. Ive moved tanks before but this is different, when i moved previously it ws from house to house
Only two things I have to put livestock in is a 40 gallon brute tub and a 55 Gallon Garbage Can
Could I try to stuff as much liverock in the 55 gallon container, and fill it with water from the tank and throw a heater in there and a powerhead.
I then would remove return pump and all unnecessary stuff from sump , return pumps and such.
I would leave some liverock in there for hiding of fish and keep my skimmer going , Here is the problem though here is my livestock
1 yellow tang, 1 blue hippo both aprox 3.5 inches
2 clowns
2 anemones
corals
2 damsels
3 wrasses
If they were only in there for aprox 2-3 days would that be ok, Id put a light over the tub. The skimmer could handle the bio load asm g3, This seems to be the only way I can fully get everything out of my tank so I can remove it, before setting up my cube. My biggest concerns are the stressing of the fish. But i do not think I have any other choice.
Thoughts please.
