In process of setting up new 100 gal tank finishing up plumbing. I have added fresh water to the tank in temporary location away from wall to simplify installaion of equipment. I will drain, move tank to final location, refill and add salt once I have all testing for leaks and installation of Apex equipment and all its components complete. Have really enjoyed setting up new tank taking my time not being on a time budget nor have wife pushing me to complete this project, LOL, so my question is, "Is it OK to run the UV sterilizer while only fresh water is in the tank? Only ask this question is because somewhere along the way I believe I saw different UV equipment requirements between freshwater and saltwater emplimentations. Below is short video of tank plumbing.
