That’s in my neck of the woods. Is there and entrance fee?
Depends on which pass you buy. 1 day gets you in from 11am to 6pm. 2 day pass gets you in from 10am to 6pm and the 3 day pass adds a Friday pass that starts at 2:30pm. I haven't found anything that says when you have to leave Friday night.Anybody know the hours? Is it like 10-6 both days or...?
Thanks!
That depends on if The Rev and Daniel will give me a hug.
I was wondering where it was because I’m not too far from Dallas, then when I found that it’s actually in the “north Dallas area” in Frisco, that is like 20-30 min from my house.I'll be that guy. This is in Frisco, TX NOT Dallas, TX. This is located by the Roughriders baseball park. A couple of miles north is the FC Dallas soccer stadium and the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
How does that even work? Could you buy 3 individual 1 day passes for each day?Yes, there are 3 choices. There is a $30 1 day pass. Then there is a 2 day pass that is $125 and 3 day pass for $225. I really feel like the 2 and 3 day passes are on the high side and I would never buy them.
Yes, you can purchase "General Pass" tickets for each day (Saturday, 10/8 & Sunday, 10/9) for $30 per ticket. The Diamond Pass and the Ultimate Pass are multi-day tickets that come with many other VIP features that have added value. You can check out the RAP Texas website for the details. How does that even work? Could you buy 3 individual 1 day passes for each day?
Good to hear, someone better! I'm the worst!...and yes @RiptideAquaculture, I will be conducting random spell checks throughout the weekend!
Did you attend Aquashella a couple of months ago? It was actually down in Dallas. This year has been the busiest year for swaps/shows. By the end of the year there will have been 8 of them in DFW.I was wondering where it was because I’m not too far from Dallas, then when I found that it’s actually in the “north Dallas area” in Frisco, that is like 20-30 min from my house.
You can only get in on Friday if you buy the most expensive pass. I haven't decided what I'm doing yet. There is also a freshwater expo on Saturday, so I may go to it and just do RAP on Sunday. How does that even work? Could you buy 3 individual 1 day passes for each day?
I think the east coast and west coast shows have a much better selection based on pictures I've seen, especially the CA show. They have so many vendors there that aren't going to be at the DFW show.Dallas, you are up for a treat. I was at RaP NY and the coral collection (especially torches) was amazing. And best of all, the prices have come down significantly. I regret not buying more of them. Bought at a much higher price after RAP(kicking myself).
have fun, TX, Louisiana, OKlahoma…definitely worth a few hours of travel.
Sam
No I haven’t been to any for a few years now with my house being basically destroyed during the freeze last year. I haven’t had a tank and didn’t feel like going and looking at a bunch of awesomeness knowing I didn’t have a place to put/use it.Did you attend Aquashella a couple of months ago?
