Old age?

I've had this Royale Gramma for 4+ years and I picked him from my LFS because of his size. Over the last year I've seen him less at feeding time and his color faded out some. He has always had a home in a cave and lay motionless this time he's one the sand bed. Not sure if he'll make it the night.

Here's an old photo of the guy. Can't get a good shot of him now but he's definitely not as bright as he was. Haven't seen any external parasites and that powder blue in the photo with him is still in the tank and is happy, healthy and fat. "Knock on wood"

The only bright side is I've been forced to hold out on a Black Cap Basslet for years, so nows my chance I guess.... Sad but a much better ending than being found dried out on the floor.
