OMG did you see this fish on DD!

[VelasCorals]

Just when I've seen it all. I love that I see something I never expected or even know existed!

Drs. Foster and Smith Diver's Den - Alectis indicus

[fenderguy1]

LOL i just posted this in my local forum. What a crazy fish!

[FishLipz]

I saw that. Really unique and beautiful too. I just hope someone didn't buy it thinking, "that's so cool and I'll just sell or trade it away when it gets too big for my 75 gallon tank".

[boehm742]

Only a 1000G tank? pffff :-p

[VelasCorals]

Did you see the max size! 4'! Do you think that is with the "threads"!

[FishLipz]

I think it loses the threads and looks like this

[Paul_N]

Max size 4 FEET!

[VelasCorals]

Doesn't the baltimore aquarium have a bunch of those in their "circle" aquarium.

I think so. Might be lookdowns too. I know they are big flat and silver and swim like machines

[BigFeesh]

I pretty sure these aren't look downs my neighbor had about 5 look downs in a 1000 gallon with a couple grouper and the lookdowns were cool but not like this fish.

I just missed it. I liked this piece as well. They posted it today and I just missed it. Awesome piece along with that awesome fish.

[VelasCorals]

Oh wow, that is an awesome peice. What was the price on that?

[Diamondsinthereef]

I loved this piece as well. Sorry to get off topic but thought I would share their pic with you all. Pretty sweet milli. Whoever got this piece must be happy.

[slojmn]

That fish is sop lovely as a small fish, however, not so lovely as a large fish. Although there are some who may disagree with me ;). It is amazing some o fhte stuff DD has been putting up lately. Hopefully folks are noticing things like "max size" before running out and buying something like that fish.

[Michael7979]

That picture is really beautiful!
But makes me wonder if they lose their color and fins when they get older like the picture fishlipz posted.

[Diamondsinthereef]

Forrealb50! I think it was 199 plus shipping but it was a really big show colony. I thought it was amazing. They've been posting a lot of really cool stuff lately and they're customer service is outstanding. That fish is crazy looking. It kind of looks like a fish and a jelly fish all in one

[BlazinNano]

That is crazy. Kinda wondering why they would even put it up for sale.......

[btkrausen]

Yeah those are awesome. I saw one of those for sale a week or two ago and had to look at it a few times. Gorgeous fish with those trailing fins like that.

[Mr E Wrasse]

WOW!!! that is one crazy fish!! I think that's the first time i've seen it say "Minimum Tank Size: 1000 gallons"

[btkrausen]

So who's gonna donate a 1000 tank to me so I can get one, haha. You'd think that they would have other means of selling a fish like this to public displays than on their Divers Den page.
