That's like a down draft skimmer right so I'm guessing the swirls in it are what is going to make the Bubbles? I have a etts skimmer that is kinda like except it has small bio balls in it if I am wrong what does the ice cream swirl do? Nice build brother and I would get a ecotech u can always get the fittings and paint them.

They are similar but not the same. The black thing you see in the acrylic section is a becket nozzle. It uses the high pressure inlet water to make a foam. Bashsea uses the "ice cream swirl to increase the dwell time and mix the bubbles and water more.

Not a fan of the color orange be it Stillwater Orange or Burnt. But its a great looking build. Interested to see where you fit your dosers, dosing chambers, and reactors when you plumb it all.. also then where you put the controller and modules. I'm guessing controller and modules on one side of the tank..
I'm interested too as to where it's all going. Looking back I would have built the stand bigger than the tank. I don't really want to build another stand so yes more than likely cabinets on the sides just not sure how to incorporate them yet.
Not sure if I missed it but who made the tank. That shot of the full cabinet / sump is crazy cool looking.
The tank was made by planet. Thanks it's turning out better than I had planned.
Im curious, how much 'headroom' do your reactors have from their tops to the bottom of the tank stand? I had my custom stand built at 40" high for a variety of reasons - headroom is pretty priceless.
I have a few inches my reactors actually sit down behind the sump a couple of inches I built a stand behind the sump d
Looks awesome!!!
Thank you!

is going in my living room too. With a open front. I can post a video but it's gonna be a few months. I got a ways to go before water goes in. Haven't even started the mixing station

Well it wouldn't be any louder then the pump ur planning on using wouldn't it?
It could be depends on how tank is plumbed and also these type of skimmers have been known to be a little louder than a needle wheel. That's a chance I'm willing to take I know this skimmer will skim circles around a needle wheel. Overall I don't think this set up will be loud fingers crossed.

I'm messy when I work lol. Don't how anything is coming out of all of that mess. But the side cabinets are coming along nicely.

Very cool. Going to be a great tank for sure. Was wondering if you had a cutout in the wall behind the tank so you could put more filtration and equipment in a fish room or closet behind.
