Why I'm not a vegetarian....I originally came here to say that this evening i proudly harvested my very first batch of chaeto! ;Woot On top of the great news, i learned two important things that i wanted to share.
One: Never flush it down the toilet.
Two: The toilet brush is for number two, not for chaeto!

Yes it does smell but I would not leave it in my kitchen can for 3 days. I would take it out to the alley in the trash can. But I see your point.
