I'm curious if there's any blue fish that would fit in my 45g aquarium. I'm not interested in damsels for obvious reasons (spawn of Satan), I can't have blue tang, as they get too large, maybe a dwarf angelfish, but I have a lemon peel angel and he's happy being the ruler of the aquarium. It would be cool to add a splash of blue in my aquarium.

You have to do Dr. Seuss right, you left out red fish in your title. You’re right a lot of damsels are Satan’s spawn but there are a few that are blue and peaceful. My yellow tail has been peaceful and since it was added second to last, it’s on the bottom of the pecking order.

I’m not sure sure a cleaner wrasse would be blue enough.

IME cleaner wrasses can live and grow very well for years eating the same food that normal aquarium fish are given, as long as the pieces can fit their mouth. Mine do not live off of cleaning other fish, nor do they bother the fish. Only clean when asked. Otherwise they swim around searching for small food particles in the water column.

I have two clownfish, lawnmower blenny, a royal gramma, lemon peel angel, skunk cleaner shrimp and peppermint shrimp in my aquarium. They all get along well. I don't want to mess that up.

I've heard that cleaner wrasses don't last long without their specific diet.
I dont know about that, Ive tried 3. They would each last a few weeks then vanish. On the third I finally found out why they kept disappearing and that was due to my jeweled moray eating them. Watched the dude open his mouth and it went to clean him and snap, expensive meal 😑
