Onyx Clownfish Question

Hey guys!
I purchased an ORA Onyx true percula clownfish. Roughly how long will it take for my clown’s black coloring to come in?

Some have it right away and some get it after they age a little bit usually within the first year.

gotcha! Thank you. I noticed it had started to “spread” so to speak but I was curious. On another note, I have a different Clownfish who swims around with his mouth open 24/7. Any ideas what that’s about? Other than that, he’s 100% fine. Eating, no signs of infections/parasites or anything like that. And my nitrates are good; between 5-10ppm.

He should be fine but I’d just watch him it can be a early sign of Brook it’s pretty common in clownfish
