open brain coral skin receding

had a friend babysit my open brain coral for a few months, during this time the skin started to recede but it still fluffs up. will my brain coral be ok?
 
Thats hard to say sometimes they will recover and most of the time they fade away. Maintain proper water parameters and try feeding.
