Opinion on new skimmer

Hi chat, I bought new (unused) skimmer on fb marketplace, opinions on foam amount? More, less, or keep as is? (Posted video with it)

It is a seaclone 100 and I can change it to have more or less air flow

You will probably just have to mess with it for awhile to see where it needs to be to skim. If nothing comes into the skimmer cup adjust slightly and check it later. It really depends on how wet or dry of skimmate your looking to get. Your milage may vary on quality of skimmate based on the skimmer and how much dissolved organic compounds (DOC) is in your water. It looks okay but see where its at tomorrow. It might need some breaking in still... Just becareful you dont adjust to high or you might over flow the cup really fast and get saltwater on the floor unless you have a overflow to a jug or container
