Looks great! Couple of thoughts from experience:

- I try to keep a couple of inches between rock and glass (rocks to the right of the image look pretty close to glass) for ease of cleaning
- Overtime I realized I wanted to keep things on the sand bed - trachy coral, a clam, plate coral, feather duster, etc. and wished that I had more room on the sand itself. Something to think about :)

Looks good! Maybe separate the rocks a little to make room for fish to hide?
Thanks! It’d hard to tell but there are quite a few nooks and crannies in there. I did however stumble upon HNSA, so I think I’m going to keep the same idea, but help increase flow and hidey holes.

Thanks for the reply. I agree that there not much room for sand dwellers. Hopefully incorporating more of a HNSA approach will open things up a little bit.

Ok. After end of year work and getting through the holidays I’ve gotten some rock broken up and taken another stab at the aquascape. Feedback welcome.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
