I have an Oceanson 120g that is not drilled, I am about to drill it for an overflow.

Im looking for input.

it has a large built in canopy, so I think i could do a coast to coast and have it above the clear glass part of the tank, this way it would not be seen, or not much of it.

The sky is the limit, what would you do?

thanks, im lookjng for input on what kind of overflow to do.

well for me i would have a built in overflow insted of the box overflow. for 2 reasions. if the power gos out i dont need to start a siphin with a built in overflow with a stand pipe. and second i can have it take water from the middle level of the tank by just cutting some holes in the middle of the built in overflow but not to many holes. i put my live rock in font of the holes and it has to go through the live rock to get in the overflow. so i would go with an overflow in the larger side of the tank. in my openion. hope this helped.
