Opinions on AI SOL

I recently aquired an AI sol light fixture as part of a purchase deal. I haven't set it up yet as it is part of an upcoming upgrade project to replace one of my main DTs. Wondering if I could get fellow reefer's opinion on the light. It has 8 LEDs and a timer/ controller with about 10'presets. Came with the tank and has a slider track embedded in the canopy already.
Is it worth dropping a couple bucks on to upgrade to the wireless iPhone enables app? Is it worth hooking up at all?

I used Ai-Sol's for almost 4 years, no complaints at all, used to have a 120 gal shallow water lagoon, mixed reef, lots of sps and honestly i still regret all the money that spent upgrading in my opinion the best led's in the market!!!! In reference to the controller I'll keep the old one, its easy to program, set it and forget it. Good luck.
