I've searched the forums but never got a good feel on the quality of Kamoer products. I've seen a few likes for their alkalinity testers but couldn't get a good feel for the rest of their product line. A few reads on here from a few years back were "would never add a kamoer product to my tank" but I take that with a grain of salt as most are more likely to post bad experiences versus the good ones.

I was looking at the reefmaster spa + doser now that the US site is up with the understanding that we're a ways away from set and forget and that maintenance, tweaks will be necessary. I'm not necessarily looking to jump into an entire ecosystem at this point and am a little leery of controllers in the sense that it's a potential fail point for any essential equipment plugged into or automated by it in the event it bricks. Hence, I'm not really looking to jump into a trident as I'd have to jump into the whole apex ecosystem. Outside of Apex, I've read up on GHL but it seems Ion Director has a lot of sensor/probe issues. Others have discontinued or have yet to make it to the market; looking at you Maven; yet both systems would require investment into the ecosystems (I believe).

Anyone have any real-world experience with Kamoer products from a quality standpoint and bonus for the reefmaster spa? I've noticed the model on the US site also includes a 7th analyte in Iron whereas most reviews I've come across were 6 analytes from a few years ago.

Any input would be much appreciated!

My kamoer dosing pump is 5 years old still works perfectly. And I have 2 kamoer ATO's, one is 5 years old, the other is 2 years old. Personally I think its a good brand

The hardware is wonderful. The app is not, and support is bad.
