Building a 70 gallon tall. Here is an idea I came up with. I went with the island effect and choose to have a pillar as the main area and the rest of the tank open swimming area
zip times are temp. Sorry I wish I had better lighting

I wish I would have not used large rocks in my structure. More smaller ones creating room for shelves and caves. Just some food for thought.

Very nice. It could almost be the future Sphinx out there in Egypt after a few more years of erosion?

I live in California and between the earth movements and the behavior of my fish I might be concerned about the structure tipping over? Otherwise, I think it will look interesting with fish moving about!

Just few of my thoughts

You may want to move away from the edges a bit.
I would put at least some of the top ones in an angle.
There will be not enough hiding places this way

there is a tread you should at least look at. Some great ideas are there

I would remove the 1 tippy toe.rock on the rop right and place it below with the flat one and the back left single rock but other than that right on. Mud it up. Cut the zips and get some light on it next time. Lol. :p
Right on. Fish on!

Remember to test wipe the glass with your hand or carefully with the glass magnet cleaner to make sure you have clearance to work in the tank.

looks great

So.... after being happy with my hardscape and zip tying it to help the glue/cement hold, while placing my tank in position moving the structure was a failure. @&$*!!!! After much frustration I gave up. I said I’ll try again tomorrow. After looking at the tank again I think I may be in love with the way I left it. It’s not vertical like I was looking for but I’m not trying to keep the most light demanding coral. I really want the island type feel. I wanted a zoa garden on one island and maybe a GSP island in the front

The pictures really don’t give it justice. The depth is awesome. Yes I know it a bad spot of the house. Planning on moving it before filling
