I recently did this with my ORA Red Planet and I thought it was kind of fun. It also let me see how much it had really grown, so I thought I would do it with my Hawkins. Hope you enjoy!
Pictures are form Summer 2011 to SEPT 2013 (possibly the end I have got to frag as I have ran out of room to let it continue to grow, HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!)

For proportional size I know that people have much larger colonies, but this is it for my 60 gallon cube

Great progression picture! Thanks for sharing. I just picked up a mini-colony of this coral and can't wait to watch it progress. :)

Thanks for the comments. I just made a couple small frags that I plan on selling locally, but the colony still looks great!

Very, very nice. I agree with moving it up: I have mine blasted ~ 8 inches under a 400W Radium 20K and it is a beautiful blue (as is yours) and grows like its still the end of the Mayan calendar.

Thanks! I am really pleased with the color as well. It is not as low in the tank as it appears in the pictures. I would say that it is maybe 12 inches under max, but I have 250 pheonix 14k.

Hmmm I just got a new Hawkins. I haven't tried to grow one from a frag. Looks like a good grower!
Yeah once it gets growing it really takes off. I love growing sps from frags. I have much more satisfaction at seeing it grow from a small stick to a beautiful colony, than when I buy it as a colony. Good luck with yours you will love it!

I actually have a couple frags of it right now that have been cut for over a month, but I bet you could find it cheaper near you when you add the cost of shipping.
