Does anyone have this acro? Trying to find the best spot in my tank. Its kind of a gross monochrome greenish color so not sure if I should move it up. Its in about 300 par. Have had it for about 6 months. Its growing just looks ugly.

I have several colonies from 200-400 and none of them look beautiful. It’s just not a very pretty acro unfortunately. Mine grow like weeds.....Worthless..weeds

Haha. I'll take a picture in a bit to see if yours looks like mine. I am thinking about putting it in a spot that gets like 600 par.

Mine really looks pathetic. I think I should just move it.

Guilty lol! But this is the work tank that showcases their work so it has to be nice :D

What is the roundabout spectrum you run?

Used to run blues at 75 and white at 25. Now I do Blue at 100 and white at 50.

How do the polyps look? Are they purple? I feel like the purple only pops with enough white but I feel like you should be okay there.

Not getting real great extension on it but looks purple when they are out. I am gonna try moving it in a different flow area with a bit more light and see what happens with it.

Sounds like a good plan, just go slow with any move to higher lighting and it should be just fine.

Ours is pretty happy under 400+ par. Its not a fast grower at all though, at least not for us
Mine was actually a freebie in a live sale pack. Considering I killed everything else in the pack, this freebie was really $850. Hahaha

I would guess this acro needs really strong light to get the purple polyps with light branches.

Especially with most people running higher nutrients tanks these days. I bet it would look amazing in a zeo tank.
