Gorgeous frag! I still really want one...

I have my eye out for one for a while with out having to order online and deal with shipping.. Apparently there are some frags going around that were wild caught and look similar under the name Pear Berry.. Not sure if that is completely true or not.. Just what I heard. I was told by the vendor that he has had his colony that my frag came from for around 3 or 4 years so it is the real deal. I hope. It looks it to me..

Got my ORA pearlberry from fish and other icky things Tampa 2007 . This is one of 2 large colonies I have , one lives in my sump.

I have been in love with the pearlberry for a while. Some amazing pics in here. I couldn't make it to CoralCon this past weekend, but had my buddy pic up a frag of this for me. I'll be picking it up from him sometime in the next couple weeks. Here is a picture in his tank.

I dont have a pic of when I got it, but it was about an inch with branch or two. Here is a pick from June so 3 months, then the first pic was another 3 months after that,

Ora does indeed still have pearl berry for those who think they don't , they are going to be releasing it again in the future. They had to grow it back out

Good to know. I heard they lost the pearl berry and red planet. Never looked deep into it though..

Yea I know , I also thought the same. They didn't sell red planet for a while and pearl berry it's been a long while but you can imagine how long it takes to grow it out to be able to release 100's of frags. They are about 20 mins north of me and my buddy works with the clown breeding there. It's a great place
