Are you happy with the growth and color right now? I'm surprised you do not have an polyp extension
These are two bad android pics, I used a filter to take the pics or else they would have been too blue. I have a good polyp extension, you can see it in my original pics, the polyps are always extended. I have tried other "versions" of the strawberry shortcake and i never had any luck. The ORA seems to be doing much better, I have had it for about a month and I am very happy with the color and growth rate.

Gotcha! Mine really started to take off after a month, and finally is encrusting over the rock. I'm looking forward to your growth!

Here are some pics now that mine has colored up some.

I guess yuu have yours pretty high in the tank?

It's about 3/4 of the way up. Not the very top but it does get a lot of light and flow. The color I've gotten from the LEDs vs T5s on my old tank has been amazing. Growth is great as well. I just wish I had a better camera than my galaxy phone :(.

I agree. Once I finally got the schedule where my tank liked it everything was so much Better. Next step is for me to borrow a par meter from someone to figure where I'm at.

Do your lights have UV in it?

Yes. I'm running 3 of the DM-155e from Reef Radiance which I believe have 4 violet per light.

I've seen that people who have the UV or known as "violet", have better colors. I'm thinking of upgrading my pucks

Nice!

Update on my shortcake acro from ORA.

It's encrusting nicely and is getting, some decent vertical growth as well. Overall I'm pretty happy with the growth rate. I've had it since Feb.
