just wondering about the best placement for this one?? id like to keep the colors and not bleach it out.
under 2 250 radiums w/ pfo ballast...

We keep them under 400w 20000K with no problem, about 12" from the light itself. You shouldn't have a problem..BUT..you need to take into consideration what type of lighting it was kept under prior to you getting it. If kept under T5's then you'll need to acclimate it slowly to your lighting.

yeah well i got it from has halides also. not sure 250's or 400's. anyways i was just debating mid or top of tank?

I have mine placed high. About 1/2 way up the tank under 250 MH.

well i have placed it about 3/4 way up in the tank, and it seems to be fine. so far coloring is lookin' good :)
