I have some orange 'stuff' growing. Its pretty orange, not so much red or brown. I thought it could be some kind of bacterial growth but it seems to be growing in higher flow low light places.

Could it be some kind of sponge?

This is in the hob filter. Hard to get pictures, but it is in the rocks as well. Same low light, shadowed areas with higher flow.

The consistency alongside bubbles trapped under it leads me to believe it is cyanobacteria - it's more red to my eye. Keep in mind that Cyano takes on the form of many different colors.
