Anyone have any experience with an Orange Back Bassete? Purchased one recently and within a day my Greenbanded Goby disappeared! I'm guessing he ether made a meal of the Goby or is trying to, because I constantly find him hoovering over the rock where the Gobie usually hangs around.

A beautiful and personable fish but yeah likely hoping to eat the goby if it hasn’t done so already. If you want to keep small fish consider a Pygmy geometric perchlet (a small hawkfish-like anthias) or a rubre or swales basslet instead

Nice fish! I have never seen one in Asia for sale.
Yea, quite nice indeed!
I actually know the divers that collect and export them, so I get them for fairly cheep. But I believe that they are quite expensive over seas and originating in somewhat deeper waters (over 100') not everyone can just go diving and collect them.
