Just picked up a frag of Orange crush and was curious where everyone is keeping theirs. As in what par level and flow rate in the tank.

I have a frag of orange crush I have it at the top of my tank close to indirect high flow I’ma say it gets about 300 par of light it needs 250-300 it says my bio cube hood gives out a max of 350 I believe so I’m hoping it’ll be ok and when I feed I cut a hole at the bottom of a cup and then cover the piece with said cup and spray it with food through the cup hold for a min or 2 then move on to next piece and so far so good but don’t quote me just yet I’ll check in in about a month or 2

That doesn't look like a Orange Crush to me. It should have green with orange tips
That’s what Sbb had it labeled I literally got it 2 weeks ago looks how I got it it’s orange smooth body with orange Little feelers on it might be there genetic type of orange crush acro or I got a sick one I hope it’s not that

Acros lose their color when not happy. It’s common with new frags.
The guy at the fish store said it’s getting too much light and to move it down I moved it down 2 inches he said it’s bleaching a bit but it’s way early so now I need to look up things on how to rehab

For the experts, any tips on getting the orange tips? Mine is plain blue/purple right now but getting yours sounds good but something I was feeding is that acros grow at 10 meters deep minimum and can grow as deep as 80 meters so how much light do they really get down low like that cause 400 par is surface of ocean which is Concerning and at the same time, I’m concerned about my acro I have a bio cube 32 stock and those put out like 500 par from what I’ve read so far unless people giving false info
