I bought a paired Orange Spot Goby and a candy stripe pistol from my LFS recently. I put them in a little cup with a lid and released them together right at the entrance of a good cave. The shrimp went in, where it has made it's home ever since. The goby went bonkers to the back of the tank where it has made it's home behind a rock ever since. He will come out to eat, but that's about it.

Is there a way to get him to rediscover his shrimp?

How long has it been. I have added pistols to a tank and gobies at different times and they eventually found each other.

25 gallons lol. I'll be patient! Thanks!
