Not many information out there for newer model of this light.
Does anyone have this light or experienced?

What's the maximum height can Orbit Marine IC Pro Dual LED handle?

I'm trying to get at least two different color type of montipora, couple of acropora, hammer coral, bubble tip anemone, zoas and polyp, leather, kenya tree, and xenia.

Mainly care more on coral colors than growth

Make sure you get the unit with domed lights (Not the flat ones), I think is called Orbit PRO, you should have more than enough par for any SPS.

Best of luck.

You are correct, they can still be found with warranty by retailers though.

I was offered the Loop at a local store, they had a couple of them in use, but they ended up moving them to their shrimp tanks and said they were not effective for all SPS... Is why I ended up buying the Pro instead (For a lot less and directly from Current on eVil Bay). You will notice the difference looking at the chart above.

Best of luck

i have a single 18" model on my 5 gal fluval, and it's plenty for zoas, duncan, ricordea and a few birdsnest frags.

my monti doesn't like it, but it never liked any of my other tanks or lights either lol :)

I think I would stay away from orbit for anything but softies. CBB would be a better bet if it were about the money. If it's not about the money get Orphek, Kessil, Radion, etc.

I actually performed a PAR reading on my 18" PRO and is accurate on the dot... Also using it on a Fluval EVO 5 and at only 11" from fixture to substrate is meant to be a coral melting unit.

Photo from day 1, still a little cloudy from pouring seawater for the 1st time.

That's just someone's personal preference. Plenty of reefers use Chinese Black Boxes with success.
Which kessil would be enough for corals that I listed? Tank height is going to be roughly 13

I wouldnt recommend these lights for sps. I have a couple of these but need to supplement with t5s to grow sps.
